un lien plus ou moins proche avec une communaut\u00e9 monastique<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p><p>Contrairement aux fromages trappiste, <strong>la d\u00e9nomination \u00ab\u00a0fromage d&rsquo;abbaye\u00a0\u00bb n&rsquo;est pas prot\u00e9g\u00e9e<\/strong>, et ne signifie pas forc\u00e9ment que le fromage a \u00e9t\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9 par des moines !<\/p><p>Il peut par exemple s&rsquo;agir d&rsquo;une indication sur la localisation g\u00e9ographique d&rsquo;une fromagerie (\u00e0 proximit\u00e9 d&rsquo;un monast\u00e8re) ou sur ses <strong>liens historiques avec une abbaye<\/strong>, comme pour le fromage St Bernardus et le monast\u00e8re trappiste Saint-Sixtus.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div rel=\"noopener\">r\u00f4le primordial<\/a> dans la production et la fabrication de fromages en Europe, ainsi que d&rsquo;autres produits tels que la <a href=\"https:\/\/unepetitemousse.fr\/blog\/bieres-dabbaye\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bi\u00e8re<\/a>. Aujourd&rsquo;hui, <strong>de nombreux fromages monastiques sont d&rsquo;ailleurs lav\u00e9s \u00e0 la bi\u00e8re<\/strong> !<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-37cb262 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"37cb262\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Fromage d'abbaye et fromage trappiste : quelle diff\u00e9rence ?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b3a736a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b3a736a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>La notion de \u00ab\u00a0fromage trappiste\u00a0\u00bb est beaucoup pour restrictive<\/strong> que celle de \u00ab\u00a0fromage d&rsquo;abbaye\u00a0\u00bb. Pour \u00eatre reconnu comme ATP (<em>Authentic Trappist Product<\/em>), un fromage doit respecter <strong>3 crit\u00e8res<\/strong> :\u00a0<\/p><ol><li>avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;environnement imm\u00e9diat de l&rsquo;abbaye<\/li><li>sous la supervision des moines<\/li><li>les revenus doivent \u00eatre destin\u00e9s \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 monastique ou \u00e0 des associations caritatives<\/li><\/ol><p>En 2022, <strong>seules 7 abbayes fabriquent du fromage reconnu comme trappiste<\/strong> : Chimay, La Trappe, Mont des Cats, Orval, Westmalle, Engelszell et fran\u00e7ais en r\u00e9action \u00e0 l&rsquo;utilisation marketing parfois abusive de l&rsquo;expression \u00ab\u00a0d&rsquo;abbaye\u00a0\u00bb, la marque Monastic <strong>certifie l&rsquo;authenticit\u00e9 monastique d&rsquo;un produit<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Pour obtenir le logo Monastic, un produit (fromage, bi\u00e8re, liqueur ou autre) doit respecter un certain nombre de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monastic-euro.org\/decouvrir\/les-criteres-de-notre-marque\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">crit\u00e8res<\/a> garantissant l&rsquo;<strong>implication totale de la communaut\u00e9 des moines dans toutes les \u00e9tapes de sa production<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Aujourd&rsquo;hui, l&rsquo;association Monastic regroupe <strong>pr\u00e8s de 200 communaut\u00e9s monastiques<\/strong>, principalement catholiques.<\/p><p>Cette marque <strong>s&rsquo;applique uniquement aux produits fran\u00e7ais<\/strong>, ce qui explique que certains fromages d&rsquo;abbaye
